Do you need underfloor heating, but is a traditional sand-cement system not possible? Then discover our 20mm thin underfloor heating drying system . The solution if, for example, there is a wooden floor construction or there is little construction height available. With this solution you place an 18mm gypsum fiber board with milled studs on top of the existing floor. After running in the heating pipe, the studs are filled with a special filling compound (not a leveling agent). This brings the total construction height to 20mm.

ADVANTAGES OF UNDERFLOOR HEATING DRYING SYSTEM

  • 25 kilos per square meter (m2)
  • Often accessible at full load within 24 hours
  • Clearly noticeable warming within 30 minutes
  • Cochlea and meander pattern
  • Variokomp Variotherm underfloor heating on top of wood or concrete subfloor

EASE OF INSTALLATION GUARANTEED!

The Variokomp drywall system consists of just a few components:

  • 18mm gypsum fiber board with pre-milled studs
  • 11.6 x 1.5 laser welded profile tube
  • Filling mass for optimal heat distribution

The simplicity of components ensures a quick, easy and clean installation. First of all, the floor construction must meet the substrate properties. If the floor of the crawl space is not insulated, you can, for example, install XPS or wood fiber insulation. You then apply a damp-proof foil. You will also need to apply edge strip insulation to the surrounding walls.

You then place the 18mm studded plates floating and in a half-brick pattern on the floor. You simply run the tube between the studs in a snail shell or meander pattern. Press the tube firmly between the studs! Once this is done, apply the supplied filling compound and iron it off. Please note that the filling compound is not a leveling agent but serves as a heat conductor.
